'O Shudder' to be played in full...
Dutch Uncles

Artfully off kilter pop oddballs Dutch Uncles have decided to air new album 'O Shudder' – at a non-league football game.

Yep, the band will sponsor West Didsbury & Chorlton AFC's quarter final cup tie against Bootle on Saturday (February 14th).

'O Shudder' will be played in full, while half-time entertainment will see fans take part in a penalty shoot out against Dutch Uncles.

Andy Proudfoot: "Between the five of us, we support three different football teams: Stockport County, Manchester United and City. This season we've adopted our local amateur team so we can call cheer on the same side every Saturday without breaking out into any arguments. It's started to become a regular pilgrimage for all of us and we thought it would be fun to mark the release of our new album by sponsoring their biggest match ever... a quarter final cup tie against against Bootle."

Ahead of this, Dutch Uncles have placed new track 'Be Right Back' online. Delicious pop fare, it matches some deft influences – Talking Heads or even Bryan Ferry – against some 21st century production.
