Doves have been forced to cancel their upcoming UK tour.
The group returned with their fantastic album 'The Universal Want' in 2020, an excellent record that ranked alongside their best work.
The pandemic meant that Doves couldn't tour the record properly, but with lockdown restrictions abating concerts were announced for this Autumn.
Sadly, they have now been cancelled. In a statement, Doves apologised to fans saying that "sadly mental health issues simply mean that performing live isn't possible for us at this time or the immediate future."
In a separate statement, Jimi Goodwin explained that due to mental health issues, he was unable to commit to the tour dates as they stand.
He comments: "My decision to bow out is, believe me, not something I've taken lightly..."
Full support to Jimi Goodwin and Doves at this time.
