It's out on March 5th...

Alt-pop phenomenon dodie will release new album 'Build A Problem' on March 5th.

The songwriter started teasing the release last week, before laying out her plans a few hours ago.

The new album is the culmination of a remarkable journey, one that includes international headlines and a sold out show at London's Roundhouse.

'Build A Problem' lands on March 5th, and it's led by new single 'Cool Girl'. An imperious slice of deeply individual pop, the coy melodies and surging chorus mask a lyric about trying - but failing - to fit in.

A song about self-acceptance, 'Cool Girl' appeals to the angsty teen in us all.

"'Cool Girl' is a song about misplaced anger," she says. "Stemming from the suppression of communicating your needs in a relationship in order to attempt to be the most chill, cool, and loveable. It’s bitter, desperate, frustrated, proud, determined, and unhealthy."

Tune in now.

'Build A Problem' will be released on March 5th.
