Two picture discs confirmed...
David Bowie

Record Story Day is almost upon us once again.

This year taking place on April 19th, it allows music fans to feast upon a host of new releases available exclusively through independent music shops.

David Bowie has now confirmed his involvement, with the Thin White Duke set to release two picture discs.

UK fans will be able to purchase a seven inch version of 'Rock 'N' Roll Suicide' while American counterparts will be able to grab '1984' on the same format. (via The Guardian)

'Rock 'N' Roll Suicide' is the final track on 'The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders From Mars' and comes backed with a live version of 'Farewell Speech' - recorded at the final Ziggy show in 1973.

The news comes as Tony Visconti reveals that material from 'The Next Day' sessions remains in the vault. Speaking to the BBC, the producer also claimed that two or three "astounding" leftover songs could yet see the light of day.
