Blur singer reacts to fall out of EU referendum...
Damon Albarn

Damon Albarn has told the crowds at Glastonbury that “democracy has failed us” following the result of the EU referendum.

The singer was one of the first acts to perform at Worthy Farm, appearing alongside the Orchestra of Syrian Musicians.

The Blur frontman wasted no time in making his thoughts on the EU referendum known.

“I have a heavy heart today,” he said. “Democracy has failed us. Democracy has failed us because it was ill informed and I want you to know that when we all leave here, we can change that decision. It is possible.”
