Hole star in London appearance

Former Hole singer Courtney Love could be set to play a rare DJ set in London tonight (February 6th).

The singer has been working on her new album for some time. Love was due to release her new solo album on January 1st via the internet, but come New Year's Day nothing appeared.

The material is due to see the light of day later this year, and will reportedly be called 'Nobody's Daughter'.

The controversial singer has not released any new material since 2004's solo album 'America's Sweetheart'. Since then an extensive stay in rehab has caused the musician to re-evaluate her life, leading to lengthy sessions on the forthcoming album.

Love is set to join the DJ crew at the Queen Is Dead at London's Borderline venue. Run by former Creation boss Alan McGee (the man who discovered Teenage Fanclub!) the weekly club is one of London's top indie clubs.

In a statement resident DJ Dirty Harry said "This one is going to be off the HOOK!".

Courtney Love is expected to DJ at the Queen Is Dead club tonight (February 6th).
