Public Enemy rapper speaks out during Glasgow show...

Public Enemy rapper Chuck D spoke out against Brexit during a Glasgow show over the weekend.

The legendary hip-hop group are on tour with De La Soul and Wu-Tang Clan, hitting Glasgow on Sunday (May 12th).

Chuck D spoke to the crowd at length, re-affirming his commitment to Scottish independence and condemning Brexit.

"I thought y'all was gonna be independent by the time I came back to this motherfucker?" he joked. "What you holdin' onto fucking mommy for? Theresa May don't know what the fuck she's doing! Fuck her goddam Brexit".

Watch a clip of the speech below.

It's not the first time Chuck D has commented on Scottish independence - he spoke to Clash in 2014, saying: "They're smart and it's time ... Scotland can have independence."
