Biffy Clyro have shared their explosive new single ‘A Hunger In Your Haunt’ in full - listen to it now.
The track has been pulled from their forthcoming, ninth studio album ‘The Myth of Happily Ever After’ which is set to be released October 22nd.
‘A Hunger In Your Haunt’ will appear alongside lead track ‘Unknown Male 01’ which was released and greatly received earlier this month.
Following in suit, the new single has debuted as Radio 1’s Hottest Record and shows great promise for the anticipated album. The Scottish band’s previous efforts are by no means forgotten in the excitement of their new release.
‘A Hunger In Your Haunt’ boasts a hard-hitting riff that echoes 2004 fan favourite ‘Infinity Land’ and has been announced as a reaction to their number one album ‘A Celebration of Endings’.
Speaking of the new record Simon Neil, vocalist, and guitarist, commented that “’A Hunger In Your Haunt’ was a riff I’d had kicking around for a while”. A response to the past, turbulent year is manifested in the new single, which packs an emotional punch. Neil revealed that “the song is a wake-up call to myself…It’s like a self-motivating mantra.”
Biffy Clyro have recently celebrated their successful headlining of both Reading and Leeds Festival. The band have remained undefeated on the UK rock scene, and we have no doubts ‘A Hunger In Your Haunt’ will further secure this success.
'The Myth Of The Happily Ever After' will be released on October 22nd.
