Featuring a plethora of never-before-seen footage...
David Bowie

BBC Two is set to air a brand new David Bowie documentary this weekend featuring unseen footage.

David Bowie: The Last Five Years follows the making of 'The Next Day' and 'Blackstar', as well as the musical 'Lazarus'.

The film features an interview with artist Jonathan Barnbrook, discussing the innovative cover for 'The Next Day' - the biggest selling vinyl release in the UK last year.

The documentary meets a number of Bowie's collaborators, as well as a series of isolated tracks from the artist's final two studio albums.

David Bowie: The Last Five Years airs tomorrow (January 7th) at 9pm on BBC Two.

UPDATE:
The original version of this story indicated that the documentary would air on BBC Four - due to the interest show, the broadcaster has moved the screening to BBC Two.
