London Music Venue Damaged

Popular London music venue Nambucca has been badly damaged by fire, with the Holloway Road pub closed after the incident last night (December 16th).

According to reports the Nambucca pub on Holloway Road has been extensively damaged after a fire which began in the basement of the building.

According to the fire brigade there have been no recorded casualties in the incident. Amongst the bands who regularly drink there are Babyshambles and The Holloways amongst others.

The are will be cordoned off until 9am today. The Nambucca was where The Holloways formed, taking their name from the area of London it is situated. The band lived in a flat above the bar, but have since moved out.

A notable music venue, it has held gigs by The Libertines, Black Kids, The Pigeon Detectives and many others.
