Group could be set for summer gigs

Indie giants Babyshambles could be set for a busy summer season with drummer Adam Ficek hinting at festival appearances in a new blog entry.

The group have been quiet recently with a number of members crafting solo projects. Singer Pete Doherty is set to release his new solo album 'Grace/Wastelands' on March 16th, and will be touring the nation in support of the record. To listen to tracks from the album just click here!

Ficek himself released an album under the name Roses Kings Castles, a surprisingly strong collection of material from the retiring drummer. The musician then went on tour, playing a number of unusual gigs sometimes with Doherty in tow.

"After the promo of Peter's stuff we'll up a gear again and hit the Babyshambles trail once more" Ficek wrote in his blog.

He added: "We're hoping to get some live shows in 'Shambles style, there's a few festivals lined up but mainly I think the early part of the year is going to be taken up with Peter's solo stuff."

There has been no official announcement from Babyshambles.
