Andy Bell has shared new solo cut 'I Was Alone'.
The songwriter will release his debut solo album 'The View From Halfway Down' on October 9th, part of a wave of creativity from the Ride guitarist.
The Oxford shoegaze legends enjoyed a hectic 2019, and seemingly the guitarist has carried this energy into his home studio.
New song 'I Was Alone' is online now, and the spartan arrangement masks the influences of Spaceman 3.
A kind of austere space rock drone, it's about solitude, and the impact this can have.
Andy Bell comments…
"A Spacemen 3-influenced song about dealing mentally with solitude…"
Tune in now.
