Slinky Italian disco with an expansive flourish...
Jolly Mare

Jolly Mare has every reason to be jolly.

Real name Fabrizio Martina, the producer is a champion turntablist, in addition to holding a PhD. It's making music, though, that truly grabs his imagination.

Lauded as part of the new wave of Italian disco artists, his slinky, vivacious productions have reached dancefloors across the globe.

New album 'Mechanics' is out tomorrow (April 8th - pre-order LINK) and it's an expertly constructed piece of disco fare. Expansive yet at times intense, it's the result of strenuous studio sessions.

Jolly Mare comments:

"I'm really excited about sharing the full stream of "Mechanics", it's like unveiling a big marble sculpture I carefully modeled over the last year and half."

"Almost everything of it comes from my taste, intuitions and hard work: I was producer, instrumentalist on every track, co-singer (in Hotel Riviera), co-mixer, master engineer for the digital release, artwork author and graphic designer, and also videotape editor for the three video clips already released and co-director for Hotel Riviera's. All these sounds and images resemble an incredibly intense, productive part of my life."
