The Libertines

Reforming for a one off show at London's Hyde Park this summer, The Libertines have begun to look at their long term plans.

In recent interviews, both Carl Barat and Peter Doherty have spoken of their wish to record new material, with rehearsals seeming to spark new ideas.

For now, fans will have to remain satisfied with additional performances. In a new announcement, The Libertines have confirmed news of a headline slot at Benicassim.

The band will play on July 19th, with the bill also including the likes of fellow headliners Kasabian alongside Katy B, Tame Impala and more.

Benicassim runs between July 17th - 20th.
