Reading And Leeds Weather Update: It Looks Mixed

Best bring a jacket and some warm socks...

So big it has to be spread across two sites, Reading and Leeds festival is almost upon us once again.

The mammoth twin-site event kicks opens its gates tomorrow (August 21st) with music – including headline sets from Queens Of The Stone Age, Blink-182 and Arctic Monkeys – running between August 22nd – 24th.

Sadly, the weather looks far from perfect. The latest predictions from Metcheck indicate mixed spells at both sites, with fans advised to take their jackets and some warm socks.

Reading will open to clouds before Friday (August 22nd) gives way to some warm, sunny intervals. Saturday (August 23rd) could see rain, before Sunday (August 24th) sees the site return to a slightly drier state.

Up in Leeds, fans should prepare for wet weather with a 50% chance of rain on Thursday evening (August 21st). Friday and Saturday should be brighter, with Sunday (August 24th) actually predicted to be the most clement day of the Northern leg.

Heading along? Best bring warm and dry – if only to snuggle into at night.

Reading and Leeds runs between August 22nd – 24th.
