After a turbulent halt brought upon the events industry by the COVID-19 pandemic, EXIT invites eager festival-goers with open arms to celebrate their 20th Anniversary in one of Serbia’s key historical buildings, the Petrovaradin Fortress.
Hailed by Liam Howlett (Prodigy) as "The best festival in the world. For real", this years landmark 20th anniversary line-up is the strongest to date.
EXIT is our mecca for electronic music. Two iconic main stages bring together some of the world's biggest electronic artists to celebrate life and the return to normality after nearly 15 months to the fullest, with a host of other arenas and stages catering to all aspects of emerging electronica.
Taking place shortly after the Serbian government’s planned re-opening of the country, one can expect the dates between the 8th and 11th of July to spotlight some of the leading names in electronic music.
Announced today Amelie Lens, Maceo Plex, Tijana T, Magdalena, Patrice Bäumel, Agents Of Time, Farrago, and Adiel join David Guetta, DJ Snake, Nina Kraviz, Four Tet, Solomun and hundreds of other acts billed.
Maceo Plex is one of the greatest electronic artists of our age and headlines of the biggest stages at EXIT - the mighty MTS Dance Arena. Maceo Plex is joined by Belgian techno titan Amelie Lens and Serbia's Tijana T plus Magdalena and Andrew Meller B2B, Johannes Brecht live and Bona Fide.
This year the legendary No Sleep Novi Sad stage sees the Netherlands finest export Patrice Bäumel headlining alongside a host of rising stars including Farrago, Adiel, Agents Of Time and leading light of the German electronic scene Roman Flugel. Joined by Eeelke Kleijn and a host of others there will be no let-off from the dancefloor.
The line-up also unveils a leaning towards rap and electronica with Tyga and Sheck Wes also confirmed.
Despite being one of the first major European festivals to confirm a return this summer, EXIT has made clear that their main priority lies in the safety of their attendants and have therefore implemented a carefully thought-out protocol, reflecting on the latest scientific research across Europe.
In fact, for this year’s event EXIT has collaborated with the Serbian Ministry Of Heath, donating 3,000 tickets to medical workers across the country.
Slowly but surely, the events industry is inching closer towards bubbling crowds and heavy sound systems.
This is definitely not one to miss, ask Liam Gallagher; "EXIT Festival in Novi Sad has to be one of the best festivals on the planet, the crowd was BIBLICAL."
