Live Gallery: Spiritualized – eventim Apollo, London

An interstellar performance from J Spaceman's legendary group...

Spiritualized are a force of nature.

Emerging from the ruins of Spacemen 3, the band's cosmic sound fused gospel, free jazz, noise rock and more across a series of seminal albums, coinciding with some inspirational live performances.

J Spaceman emerged from the shadows earlier in the year with new album 'And Nothing Hurt', a wonderfully soulful return that swapped agonised bombast for elegant indepedence.

Out now on Bella Union, the record has already gathered critical garlands, with Spiritualized reconvening for a long-since sold out performance at London's eventim Apollo on Friday (September 21st).

J Spaceman was the seated, guitar-clad conductor, wringing out feral noises at an inspired, moving, wholly incendiary performance.

Photographer Rachel Lipsitz captured these scenes for posterity.
