A potent display from the shoegaze legends...

Ride remain a force to be reckoned with.

The band's second chapter has been inspired from the off, with a series of anniversary shows leading into 2017's outstanding full length 'Weather Diaries'.

Remaining doggedly creative, Ride matched huge touring commitments to studio dates, with new album 'This Is Not A Safe Place' showing them at their most raw.

A record that moves from electronic sketches through to wild noise rock, Ride launched 'This Is Not A Safe Place' with a tiny show in London's Moth Club.

Returning to the capital to end 2019, the group took hold of the famed Barbican, echoing their pop art roots - after all, this is the band who covered The Creation.

A wonderful, future-facing set, Ride refused to let their legacy overcome their fresh ideas, constructing an evening of ragged vitality in the process.
