Lewis Capaldi Launches New Fan Initiative

For those at his shows with emotional difficulties...

Lewis Capaldi is kind of a big deal these days.

Smashing his way to the stop spot with his single 'Someone You Loved' – one of 2019's biggest hits yet, y'know – he's set to release his debut album ‘Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent’ on May 17th.

Before this even lands, however, the Scot is preparing for his 2020 tour, tackling some enormous arena venues.

It's a remarkable achievement, but it's also one he's not taking lightly, using this as a platform to launch a new initiative for fans.

LIVELIVE is born from both personal experience and things fans have shared with him, and it's aimed to helping those who experience anxiety or emotional difficulties and have concerns about attending the shows.

An extra 50p will be added to the tickets, and this will provide a dedicated email address and team at each venue who are expertly trained and qualified in assisting with panic, anxiety or any other concerns fans may have.

Anyone who needs help can move to a specially designated ‘escape space’ where time out can be spent, while you can only visit signposted help points inside each venue which will be open before, during and after the concert.

If you want to discuss this initiative then get in touch on: [email protected]

Lewis Capaldi explains…

“I always get tonnes of messages from people online who have said they want to come to my shows but can’t because they’re struggling massively with anxiety or are just generally afraid they will have a panic attack during the show. I really wanted to put something in place to help those people feel comfortable and offer them support to allow them to experience the shows.”

“I just hate to feel that anyone’s anxiety is making them miss out on anything they want to do and LIVELIVE is my attempt at helping make these shows enjoyable for as many of those people who have been supporting this journey for me!”

Tickets for Lewis Capaldi's arena tour go on general sale at 9am on April 26th.
