One of the biggest festivals in Europe, FIB Benicassim attracts music fans from across the globe.
Returning this summer, organisers have announced the first names on the bill. Florence & The Machine are set to headline, with the flame-haired singer reportedly set to release her third album in 2015.
The Prodigy are due to perform, with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds also taking part. Intriguingly, Portishead will emerge from their slunber with the acclaimed Bristol collective due to appear at FIB Beniccasim.
Public Enemy will bring their ever-powerful back catalogue to Spain for the festival, while other confirmed names include Clean Bandit, Crystal Fighters and Bastille.
Festival Director, Melvin Benn, said:
“FIB. The international festival that started the concept of international festivals enters its 3rd decade and what a wonderful feeling it is for me to be part of it. The third decade represents the real start for me and, as well as a stellar line up of Main and Second Stage acts we are announcing today -The Prodigy - among them, I'm also very keen to highlight the new areas of the festival we are developing this year, Trenchtown and Bearded Kitten. New and fresh ideas and areas to reset the bar for Spanish festivals in the same way the Moran brothers did in 1995. The FIB 2015 Benicàssim Festival is the future…”
Benicassim runs between July 16th – 19th.
