Following a year of recovery from a spinal injury...
Ennio Morricone

A legendary composer, Ennio Morricone's work retains an enduring influence.

Working on more than 500 film and television projects across his lengthy career, a spinal injury forced the renowned composer to spend a year out of the spotlight.

Deciding that the time was right to return, Ennio Morricone has confirmed plans for a short burst of performances. In a statement, the Italian artist said:

"It is with great joy that I can finally say that I have truly, fully recovered. I am most grateful for the loyalty that my audiences around Europe have shown. It was with great sadness that I have had to cancel and reschedule so many concerts during the past year. I am happy to announce though that nearly all of my concerts that were planned for this December will be rescheduled into my tour coming February and March!"

"Many people have asked if this coming tour is my last one. This is not the case. I feel rested, inspired and excited to be back. I consider it a comeback after a terribly long period of absence. I greatly enjoy conducting my music for my dear audiences and I intend to 'conduct myself' in recognition of their esteem and lasting patience."

Confirming a full European tour, Ennio Morricone will play the following UK and Ireland shows:

February
5 London O2 Arena
7 Dublin O2 Arena
