The American group are set to play the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games on Sunday (September 14th), performing alongside Kaiser Chiefs, Ryan Adams and, erm, James Blunt.
Speaking to fans on Twitter, the band began hinting that a series of intimate shows could be on the way.

Shortly afterwards, Foo Fighters posted the following message alongside a standard UK three-prong wall socket.
