The designer shares five favourite tracks.
Ashley Williams

Search the name Ashley Williams and in the right hand corner of your Google page you will find a Wikipedia entry for the footballer Ashley Williams, confusingly accompanied by a photo of the female actress of the same name. Neither of these two has made us a playlist, of any sort.

The Ashley Williams who has is the young designer currently making up one third of the Fashion East line-up. From her graduate collection last summer to the Elvis themed pieces she paraded in February, she’s the girls girl designing for her age group, and that’s exactly why we’re fans.

Bright colours, fluffy collars and teddy bears for bags, her Fashion East debut accompanied this fun aesthetic with more serious pencil skirts, stilettos and slick styling courtesy of Julia Sarr-Jamois.

Here she shares five favourites.

‘Sometimes’ Erasure - It’s good to sing at karaoke.

‘Invisible Touch’ Genesis - I love Phil Collins.

‘Helplessly Hoping’ Crosby, Stills & Nash - It’s romantic.

‘Didi’ Cheb Khaled - Reminds me of being little.

‘Under The Ivy’ Kate Bush - It describes how I feel most of the time.
