Think of the Marc by Marc Jacobs AW14 girl and make a quick assumption on her top accessory.

Restrictive handbag? Heels so high only pigeon steps are permitted? Headphones that let her act out some part of the revolution her clothes vocalised on the catwalk so much?

Urbanears certainly think it’s the latter, and given they’ve just collaborated with the Swedish label, creative directors Luella Bartley and Katie Hillier would seem to agree.

Produced in three colourways – the intriguingly titled oil, berries and ocean (translation: a sort of shiny black, pinky red and turquoise blue) – two Urbanears styles make up the new exclusive: the Humlan and the Kransen.

While the Kransen is an in-ear model “designed for a comfortable fit with direct and powerful sound”, it’s the Humlan that Clash reckons most befits Natalie Westling and co, boasting ZoundPlug – a socket that allows the user to share music with friends – as well as a bold over-ear style.
