The initiative just tapped Yeezy's sartorial collaborator.

Perhaps you’ve hit ‘like’ on all the right pages and your Facebook timeline is thus no foe to the initiative’s promoted posts, or maybe a friend told a friend told a friend, either way, it’s not unlikely you’re familiar with Mastered.

An online series designed for beyond beginners, Mastered’s 4-6 month programs offer expert advice for the world’s creative types, tapping the industry’s most prominent names – Tim Blanks and Nick Knight amongst them – as would-be mentors.

And now Kanye West collaborator Virgil Abloh is set to join the ranks with the launch of a new class, Streetwear: Mastered.

An oxymoron of sorts perhaps (the heart of Mastered is apparently ‘professional development for people who already own the industry’, key to note), this latest series is set to be one of the initiative’s most exciting yet.

“I’m into the idea of not just serving myself,” states the Off-White designer, “I’m looking to see what our generation and the one behind us has to offer in terms of credible design.”

Launching proper in April, the Abloh curated program arrives this month with panel talks and parties in London, Berlin, New York and Tokyo (read: cities with a streetwear heavy community).

Making its London debut in unison with London Collections: Men, contemporary menswear names Cottweiler, Carri Munden, Gary Aspden and Sam Ross are all set to appear in conversation with The Daily Street’s Alex Synamatix.
