Kevin Abstract Stars In Latest #MyCalvins Campaign Drop

Speaking his truth in an exclusive Q+A...

Brockhampton founder and Clash cover star Kevin Abstract stars in the second drop of Calvin Klein's #MyCalvins #MyTruth campaign, following closely behind fellow Clash alumni Shawn Mendes and Billie Eilish last week

Fresh from the release of his new three-song solo project 'ARIZONA Baby', the 22 year old Texas born rapper features alongside Kendall Jenner, A$AP Rocky, Indya Moore and Troye Sivan in the latest image release from the New York based fashion house, shot by Mario Sorrenti, accompanying two films from acclaimed director Jonas Lindstroem.

Kevin gave us exclusive insight into the campaign and his relationship with the brand, below.

You declared your truth in the latest #MYCALVINS campaign – what was the on-set experience like for you? Difficult? Nerve-wracking? Easy? Fun?

Kevin Abstract: I was definitely nervous. I’ve loved the look and overall branding of Calvin Klein since I was in high school so this was a really big moment for me.

How does wearing Calvin Klein make you feel?

KA:  Wearing Calvin Klein makes me feel like I have way more sex appeal than I actually do.

How did you prepare yourself for the shoot?

KA: I’m extremely insecure about my body. I started working out like 5 months ago. I would go to the gym like three times a week and I bumped it up to 5 times a week once I found out I got the shoot. It was cool. I’m still like low-key insecure but I’m accepting who I am. It’s nice.

What is one thing your fans do not know about you?

KA: That I’ve lied in every interview.

Describe your personal style.

KA:  Adorable.

Is there anyone else in the cast you are a big fan of or have a crush on?

KA:  Chika is mad inspiring and so important.
