Hedi Slimane presents the latest Music Project star.

Two years after the campaign’s initiation, Josh Homme today was announced as the latest musician to star in Saint Laurent’s on-going Music Project.

The Queens of the Stone Age frontman (and Kyuss, Them Crooked Vultures and Eagles of Death Metal band member) is perhaps most commonly sartorially associated with plaid shirts and band tees with the sleeves cut off.

In his latest guise however, the 6’5 Cali native dons a smart shirt and tie – and aviator shades and a black shirt unbuttoned to the chest; hardcore metal rings make a cameo too.

Joining the likes of Courtney Love, Marilyn Manson and Beck, the four portraits that have so far surfaced were shot by the Parisian house’s Creative Director, Hedi Slimane, at Homme’s Hollywood home earlier this year (note the rock star leopard print carpet).
