The North Face has released the Metro Ex capsule in collaboration with London based graphic artist Jiro Bevis. The collection is a bold take on classic outerwear that fuses Bevis’ bright, playful aesthetic with the sleek, timeless and technical aspects of The North Face brand.
Inspired by the duality of nature and cityscapes, the collection is built on a bright yellow and blue printed backdrop with dizzying-ly obscure grey skyscrapers designed by Jiro Bevis all over.
Made from stretch nylon fabric along with The North Face’s patented FlashDry technology, the collection is made up of reworked versions of the classic Lhotse jacket, matching track jackets and pants along with a soft lavender cap and bozer crossbody bag.
A second Metro Ex collection consisting of exclusive womenswear pieces in addition to a wind proof jacket and black overalls will be released in April.
