Because musician-does-fashion-week doesn’t have to translate as a member of The Saturdays on the front row, Hunter Original this weekend launches the #BeaHeadliner Mobile Sessions.
A Periscope micro series, the sessions are the latest attempt from the brand to make London Fashion Week as insanely inclusive as possible, something Hunter has long been keen to demonstrate; AW14 saw the label present the Instagram second screen experience, followed by a stint with Graybo for SS15: for AW15 a livestream hook up with Ocean took place across the UK.
Basically if it’s digital, Hunter wants in, and if it can marry the fashion industry with music, even better. Explains Creative Director Alasdhair Willis: “Using Periscope, we are able to present Hunter Original and our relationship with festivals in a new and innovative way that reflects who we are (as a brand).”
It’s perhaps worth noting here that the invite for SS16 is an XXL pair of red and black headphones, should curiosity have struck…
Kicking off #BeaHeadliner then – the series will continue into next summer’s festival season – are Fear of Men, Tropics and Oscar. Part of an ‘on the road to’ style project, each will play an exclusive set ahead of tomorrow’s 2pm show. So when you’re lying in bed with a hangover and little will to move, your day will not go wasted.
Catch a glimpse @HunterBoots on Periscope from 1pm.
