C.P. Company presents the newest chapter of their cultural project, Eyes on the City, starring the city of Paris, Irish-American rapper Rejjie Snow and the latest offerings from the brand’s fall-winter collection.
The image campaign and accompanying film from Joshua Gordon follow Snow on a nostalgic trip through the quieter streets of the French capital. The film is authentic and raw, as Rejjie revisits the city streets that inspired him as a young artist. The people he observed and encountered on quiet, graffitied streets were heavily present in his debut album of last year, Dear Annie, particularly Mon Amour, a duet with Parisian vocalist Milena Leblanc.
Speaking on the project, Snow praised the city that shaped his art; “going to Paris in my formative years really defined a lot of my understanding of the female.” He followed up that ” Parisian women are so strong and powerful. My first time here, I saw them painting graffiti, driving buses – leading, I guess, in ways I hadn’t encountered before.”
