Reinventing an icon.

A concept that streetwear labels fare particularly well at, footwear collaborations are two a penny in the contemporary market.

Honouring menswear’s preference for a good brand story, the ones that top lists are those that throw a shoutout to notions of heritage; label’s that have a pre-noughties history.

And the latest offering from Clarks Originals and Stüssy? Well it marries all of these things, as the 80’s skate label reimagines a 60’s icon in the shape of the former’s Wallabee.

Boasting two new colourways – True Navy and Harvest Gold – the small capsule collection maintains the model’s traditional suede outer, adding subtle branding, gold tipped laces and ostrich leather details; drops tomorrow.
