This Mexrrissey Clip Is Remarkable

A Morrissey solo classic re-worked...

It's a little known fact of Morrissey fan-dom that the singer retains enormous loyalty in Los Angeles' latino population.

Perhaps it's the displaced feel of Morrissey's lyrics, perhaps it's the Catholicism of his worldview… no one is entirely sure, but the passions there for Morrissey's music burn bright.

A new documentary is incoming on this phenomenon, with Clash able to premiere a new clip.

Mexico City based Mexrrissey cover some of the Bard's songs, giving them a latino slant in keeping with their own background.

It's an affectionate salute, one that has earned no small degree of acclaim in its own right.

'Entre Más Me Ignoras, Más Cerca Estaré' is a new rendering of 'The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get', and it's given a wonderfully impassioned performance.

An insight into a truly special area of Morrissey fan-dom, you can check out the clip below.
