Steve Mason – Oh My Lord

Scottish songwriter returns...

Steve Mason has trod his own path for over a decade now.

The Scottish songwriter's solo career has produced some genuine nuggets of gold, with Mason always keen to throw fans a curveball. Dub excursions and electronic flourishes aside, his unmistakeable voice remains the one true constant of a career which is continually in flux.

New album 'Monkey Minds In The Devil’s Time' is set to be released on March 18th, with upcoming single 'Oh My Lord' set to drop on the same day. In true Steve Mason style 'Oh My Lord' is outwardly whimsical but possesses a truly thought provoking core.

Gaining the video treatment, 'Oh My Lord' was directed by Institute For Eyes (Luke Seomore & Joseph Bull) with David Proctor stepping in as director of photography. Inspired by Japanese 1960s avant-garde cinema, the clip was shot in East London and features a character driven to distraction by the overwhelming noise of modern society.

Watch it now.
