Premiere: No Nets – ‘Lucky One’ (Live At The Seaside Lounge)

Brooklyn group in sessions ahead of new album 'Bright Light'...

No Nets found themselves gathering in Brooklyn, the crucible for so many new groups in the United States.

Debut album 'Affable & Ready for Small Talk' was a curious delight, all off kilter riffs and offbeat lyrics.

Follow up 'Bright Light' is forthcoming, with the band deciding to shoot a few live sessions at the Seaside Lounge.

Clash is able to premiere an intimate recording of 'Lucky One', and it comes equipped with an emotional true story…

The first song Sal ever wrote was about his mother Virginia, who died just hours after he was born. But her influence was never lost on him.

“When I started having more questions about my mom, I just started digging. I found a box of mixtapes she had made in my basement – bands like Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, and The Clash. The Clash became my favourite band after discovering that mixtape – I owe most of my musical taste to that moment.”

'Bright Light' features the first song he’s written about her since those early days – 'Lucky One'. It’s also the first song he’s ever released about his late mother – check out this intimate live performance now.
