Premiere: Death By Unga Bunga – ‘Soldier’

Biting power pop with an early 70s feel...

Death By Unga Bunga are an unstoppable force of nature.

The band's all-out onslaught resulted in three years across 18 months, before the group closed 2017 by hitting the road with Stiff Little Fingers.

Fifth album 'So Far, So Good, So Cool' will arrive this year (phew!) and will be accompanied by the band's usual lung-bursting run of tour dates.

First, though, we're able to share new song 'Soldier', a slice of heavy duty power pop that fuses Badfinger and the Flamin' Groovies with the bite of early Led Zeppelin.

A potent brew, but it's one driven by a sense of fun, by a gleeful delight in simply making music.

The video channels old school video games, and it perfectly matches Death By Unga Bunga's tongue-in-cheeky aesthetic.

Tune in now.
