Indie rock newcomers return with new single...

Perhaps the epitome of faded seaside glamour, Blackpool has always had an intensely creative music scene.

With little else to fill their time, newcomers Darlia were able to focus on their craft, to pour their energy into the art of simply being a band.

Recent EP 'Candyman' found the group refining their sound, honing their approach. Winning widespread acclaim, it was followed by one of the group's most extensive tours yet.

Photographer Tom Oxley has helped to chart their rise, with Darlia feeling comfortable enough to invite the snapper out on the road.

Shooting a video for new single 'Dear Diary', the video opens in a bare rehearsal room with footage of the band's feral performance matched against visions of a beautiful young woman.

There's a twist, though, as the girl then picks up a childhood teddy and begins removing its insides...

Watch it now.

'Dear Diary' is set to be released on July 7th.
