Nils Frahm has always had a visual quality to his music.
The composer frequently performs live with an engrossing visual backing, while his music has prompted all manner of tributes from other artists.
Taken from his latest full 'Spaces' (Clash review HERE), new cut 'Says' is an intricate, near ambient piece which utilises Nils Frahm's ability to pull the most supple, the most tender sounds from a piano.
Inspired, Romain Assénat and Ana Silva (with support from Atelier Graphoui) got to work on a clip inspired by what they'd heard. Improvisation with inks on glass and a video-feedback device, captured live without any post-production, the results are every bit as hypnotic as the music contained therein.
