Brighton wunderkind
King Dinosaur

Youth is a precious commodity.

Adding a precocious confidence to virtually everything he puts his name to, Brighton based King Dinosaur is almost startlingly young.

Coming of age in this 'anything goes' bass sphere, the producer melts together a heady concoction drawing on UK Garage, house and glitchy electronics. Built for club use, King Dinosaur's productions have an innate melancholy that seeps through those late night headphone sessions.

Debut EP 'The Night' arrived in September, and found its way into the record bag of some big name DJs. But there's a lot more than club hype to the Brighton beatsmith. Follow up release 'How To Feel' is all rolling drums, bass weight and effortless pop vocals - think SBTRKT or T-E-E-D and you'd be close.

As a preview, Clash has been handed the video. Shot on the South Coast, it's a fun clip which shows King Dinosaur wandering around the city, meeting friends and soaking up the sunshine. Just like any other Brighton kid, we'd imagine...

Watch it now.
