Jorja Smith Stars As A Hit-Woman In The ‘Let Me Down’ Video

It's a cinematic spectacular...

Jorja Smith has shared the lavish cinematic video for new cut 'Let Me Down'.

The singer has opened the year in spectacular style, winning the BRITs Critics Choice award and confirming a Coachella slot.

New single 'Let Me Down' is a phenomenal return, boasting a guest spot from man-of-the-moment Stormzy.

The full video was filmed in Kiev, and features Jorja Smith as a dangerous hit-woman who becomes embroiled in more than she set out for.

Speaking on the visual, director Hector Dockrill states:

“When I received the brief for this film it was pretty much just one word; Bond. Jorja and I put our heads together and played with the idea of her role being a strong female lead, in an entirely fictional world. Creating this setting and developing Jorja's character in giving her depth, soul and richness was a strong step in the direction of filmmaking I want to take, and the collaborative process with Jorja and everyone around us was definitely something we're eager to do again ASAP.”
