Go On The Road With Still Parade

Check this revealing new video...

Still Parade want to take their music out on the road, winning over fans show by show, performance by performance.

Heading out to SXSW earlier this year, the project – led by Niklas Kramer – shot some behind the scenes footage while taking Austin by storm.

Edited together as a new video, it's a fascinating glimpse of life on the road featuring all the gritty moments, but also all of the glory.

Check it out now.

"While being in the United States for SXSW we wanted to make the most of our trip. It was our first time being there as a band, so everyone was really excited," Niklas explains. "You hear all this weird stuff about SXSW but we ended up having a really good time. So after finishing all these seven crazy shows we went on a road trip from Austin to LA. Like all the other bands visiting SXSW and then driving to the west coast, we made a music video."

Here’s a map with all the places we went to:

1. Marfa, Texas
Probably one of my favourite places. The landscape is really beautiful then there’s this small town called Marfa. It’s full of art interesting stuff and feels like a really special place. We went to the local radio station, said hi and then did an actual radio session over there.

2. White Sands, New Mexico
Before driving up to white sands and visiting this beautiful place, we were trying to track down a beaten up, super cheap drum set in Las Cruces for our drummer Elias, who got tired of only playing shaker the whole video. So we’re going to all these music and thrift stores and got the few peeps that were really helpful.

3. Sedona, Arizona
After spending the day in Arcosanti (just search for it on the inter webs) we were trying to get a bit more material in Sedona National Park, but we were way too late, so the sun was already going down when we got there. So we were able to film the sunset (reversed then to make it look like sunrise). The next day we went hiking to the Grand Canyon, but we were to lazy to do any filming for the video.

4. Joshua Tree, California
When you’re travelling long distances, always make sure you have enough gas in your car. On our way to Joshua Tree, we almost ran out of gas, so I was all stressed out when we got there. But just being there for a while really helped to do a little reboot. We must have been there for like four or five hours.

5. Malibu, California
In the video there’s the sea for like a half second. That was shot in Malibu. FYI.
