Gesaffelstein is going international.
The French DJ - real name Mike Lévy - has long been a sought after figure in the techno world, with his pulsating, barn-storming productions adding a renewed muscularity to the form.
But that's not all. Shifting beyond this, Gesaffelstein has his eyes set on a bigger prize, on a richer reward. Produced two tracks on Kanye West's latest opus 'Yeezus', the French beatsmith is intent on becoming a global name.
Debut album 'ALEPH' drops on October 28th via re-ignited music force Parlophone, and it's chopped up blend of electronic sounds and hip hop swagger might just take Gesaffelstein where he wants to go.
Stripped from the album, 'Hate Or Glory' is a pounding, unrelenting beast of a track. Given the visual treatment by Fleur & Manu, you can watch it now on Clash.
