Directed by Andy Knowles...
Franz Ferdinand

Franz Ferdinand want you to dance.

It might just be the pogo, or it might be waltz - no matter your style, the Scottish indie gentry simply want you to move. 'Bullet' does exactly that. Revving up the tempo, it's a punk flavoured slice of rama-lama fun which is just stupid enough to be clever.

Taken from new album 'Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Actions' (very warm Clash review HERE) the track has now been given the video treatment. Franz-friend and collaborator Andy Knowles steps behind the camera, with the video being produced by Prince House Rabbit, recorded in Scotland and mixed in Vancouver, Canada by Mike Fraser.

"I’ve worked with the band in one way or another since their first gig, back in 2002, which was in my ex-girlfriend’s bedroom" Knowles commented. "I wanted to capture a stripped back, honest performance and I think having a good relationship with the guys helped achieve this. The ‘bulletime’ effect was added to really draw out little moments that every fan will recognize as signature Franz live performance tics. The song is so fast, it demanded an equally dizzy editing style to really capture the energy."

Watch it now.
