Based in Paris, Kitsune have always referred to London as their second home.
In the case of Years & Years it's easy to see why. The London group fuse dream-like pop with crisp, dancefloor-ready beats, while frontman Olly Alexander boasts a rare charisma.
Of course, it helps that he's also an experienced actor. A veteran of numerous film and television projects, the singer recently took part in a production of 'Peter & Alice' with Judi Dench - seemingly a fan of his musical endeavours.
Years & Years' debut single 'I Wish I Knew' was something of a breakthrough, with 6Music's Lauren Laverne championing the band.
Now Clash are pleased to be able to unveil new cut 'Traps' - which will appear via Parisian imprint Kitsune. All heavenly, atmospheric choir-boy vocals and soothing textures, 'Traps' bursts into life with a chorus line built tall as skyscrapers and deep as valleys.
