The wonderfully giving Likely Lads from Leicester, Kasabian strolled down to the Absolute Radio camper van to share a joke and a laugh with Geoff Lloyd at the 2010 V Festival. During said joke and laugh the lads intimate they arrived in Chelmsford in separate helicopters, and talk of their love for the former Mr Price, Peter Andre. They also chirp on about fatherhood, while predicting that it will be Chelsea or Manchester United for the Premier League title this year. Lovely stuff.

One of the hardest working men in music, Ben from Plan B took some time out after coming off stage at the 2010 V Festival to chat to Geoff Lloyd. As well as two festival appearances this weekend, Ben is making a film which is taking up a lot of his time which he’s writing, directing, starring in and funding himself. Ben discusses the rumours that are getting out of hand about him writing a comedy series and sets the record straight. Incorporating elements of Seal and Eminem into his show, Ben explains to Geoff how the spontaneous parts of the show come about.

Blues musician and former Hobo, Seasick Steve hobbled along to our camper can for a chat with OJ Borg at the 2010 V Festival. Steve reveals that the queue to get his autograph earlier in the day grew so big that he had to jump the barrier to sign everyone’s piece of paper. After a break from playing live in the UK, the show in V Festival Staffordshire was an emotional return for the band. Luke tells Geoff how excited he is about the line-up at this year’s V Festival and can’t believe how early Madness are playing. Geoff tries to get some clues from Luke about when the new album’s going to be out and Luke hints on what’s be expected from the new songs, a move away from their guitar sound maybe.
