Snoop Dogg Adds UK Tour Dates

More shows planned

Snoop Dogg have extended his UK tour after adding a series of British headline shows.

Snoop Dogg has had mixed fortunes of late. Enjoying renewed success as a rapper, the hip hop icon’s new album ‘Doggumentary’ has been rewarded with acclaim from fans and critics alike.

However the rapper recently lost his cousin Nate Dogg after a battle with ill health. Snoop Dogg is set to persevere, and has extended plans for a new British tour.

Announcing a series of dates earlier this year, the rapper will now play a total of four British shows. Not bad, considering that he was once a tabloid bete noire and was actually banned from the country.

The dates open in Brighton on June 15th, before travelling around the country. Snoop Dogg is set to play Birmingham’s HMV Institute on May 16th, before a show in London’s Forum venue the next night.

Ending in Liverpool, the headline shows lead up to a special performance at the Lovebox Weekender. Snoop Dogg has confirmed an appearance at the festival, revisiting his seminal album ‘Doggystyle’.

Recruiting a host of guest stars, the rapper will be joined by Daz Dillinger and Kurupt (Tha Dogg Pound), RBX, The Lady of Rage, Joe Cool and more. As a special surprise for fans, Warren G has been coaxed into performing, re-creating some of his lines on the iconic G-Funk album.

Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg is planning to broadcast from the tour. Using his social networking feeds, the rapper is planning a ‘doggumentary’ of his own featuring behind the scenes footage from the tour.

Tickets are on sale now.

Snoop Dogg will play the following shows:

15 Brighton The Dome
