Portico Quartet Announce New Album ‘Memory Streams’

Bold new single 'Signals In The Dusk' is online now...

Portico Quartet will release their new album 'Memory Streams' later this year.

The band's journey began with 2008's Mercury nominated full length 'Knee Deep In The North Sea', and has broaden to encompass electronic elements, and disparate examples of global cultures.

New record 'Memory Streams' will be released on Gondwana Records, and it finds the Manchester group on inspired form once more.

Out on October 4th, it follows their two – count 'em – sold out shows at London's Roundhouse at the tail end of 2018.

The project opens with bold new single 'Signals In The Dusk', at once maximalist in terms of sheer volume of ideas processed but also restrained, almost sparse at times.

Lush electronics interweave with jazz improvisation, with Portico Quartet continuing to excel by following their own path.
