It's summertime, and the time is right… to party!
Lovebox returns this month, with the epic two day event once again taking control of London's Victoria Park.
As ever, the line up is entirely on-point, with headliners LCD Soundsystem and Major Lazer joining a slew of fast-rising acts.
Hannah Wants will return to Lovebox, and the DJ is already digging through the crates, lining up something special for the Victoria Park crowd.
Ahead of this, Hannah has picked out a few summer bangers that might – just might – feature in her set…

EBTG vs Soul Vision – 'Tracey In My Room' (Lazy Dog Bootleg)
I re-discovered this on an old hard drive whilst digging recently and it gave me goosebumps. For me it epitomises summer and those happy feels. Listening to it now whilst I write this on a hotel bed in NYC and I instantly wanna be in Ibiza watching the sun set with a cocktail. I’m obsessed with how music can make you feel. Anyway, this track is stunning and 100% summer vibes.
Hannah Wants feat. Detour City – 'Hidden Love'
This one’s my latest release on Cr2 Records. I made two mixes of the track; one’s on a techno tip for the club and the other is an after hours mix made for more chilled listening pleasure. The vocal on the records really bring an emotive feel which is perfect for the summer. Buzzing to get playing this during this years festivals.
Dennis Cruz – 'New Life'
This one’s a big favourite of mine at the moment. Dennis puts a refreshing twist on a vocal that’s been used plenty of times before. It’s what I like to call a ‘roller’. Strong drums, solid breakdowns, simple and effective riff… Yeah it bangs.
Marco Faraone – 'Boost'
This record is a straight up banga! I’m really feeling this kind of sound at the moment. Those massive kick drums and vocal chops really set the tone for the track and the switch up at 3min 30secs just takes it from a solid 8 to a 10 in my opinion. Been playing this one in my sets since it was released and it drops to great effect.
Nalin & Kane – 'Beachball' (Joris Voorn Remix)
This remix reminds me of the summer I spent in Ibiza in 2010, it’s an amazing take on a absolute classic. Such a beautiful vocal and a track that’s guaranteed to put a mad smile on your face. Summer vibes 100. I’m definitely pulling this one back out of the bag.
Claude Von Stroke – 'Who’s Afraid Of Detroit' (CVS 2016 Remix)
This has been smashing it in my sets of late, such a unique production as is most of Claude's material. It’s hard to believe the original is ten years old but Claude has given it a subtle yet stunning 2016 update and it’s a favourite of mine right now.
La Roux – 'In For The Kill' (Skream Let’s Get Ravey Mix)
This is another one I found on an old hard drive recently and I’d completely forgotten what an absolute classic it is! I’ve been dropping this one at the occasional gig towards the end of my set to insane effect. That bassline and vocal is just absolute KILLA and the switch up at the end of the track just smashes the dance floor unexpectedly.
