They're joined by members of Butthole Surfers...
The Melvins

Debauched, fetid thrills which never seem to dim with age, The Melvins remain just as shockingly intriguing as the day you first heard them.

Heading into the studio, Buzz Osborne and Dale Crover were joined recently by none other than Butthole Surfers' guitar player Paul Leary and bass player JD Pinkus.

Yep, that's right: Melvins + Butthole Surfers on the same album. Recorded in Los Angeles and Austin, 'Hold It In' will be released on October 13th. A pair of press quotes:

Buzz Osborne - "'Hold It In' is a refreshing piece of fiction in a boring world of fact and bullsh*t. Paul is one of the best guitar players I have ever heard and Pinkus has an outside the box type of approach to both guitar and bass that you just have to let it ride. I can't believe this actually happened. I'm thrilled."

Pinkus - "It's very rare you get a chance to work with three folks from the 'Break A Wish' foundation, all at the same time. I believe they'll remember their experience with me forever (or until they finally all lose their fight with S.I.D.S)."

Look! It's a grown man wearing a t-shirt which says 'I <3 Butt Drugs'!

'Hold It In' will be released on October 13th.
