Reports: Adele About To Start Work On New Album

And it could land next year...

Adele is set to start work on her next studio album, it has been reported.

The singer released her most recent studio album '25' in 2015, and followed this with a world tour.

Leaving XL Recordings, Adele reportedly signed a £90 million contract with Sony in 2016.

Now The Sun is reporting that sources close to the singer believe she is about to start work on the follow up to her record-breaking '25' album.

The source said: "She’s back in the UK and intends to write here. A number of studio musicians have been approached to work with her and she’s already penned some of the songs."

If all goes to plan then Adele could drop the new album in 2019.
