'Lift' could make an appearance...
Radiohead

Radiohead are gradually feeling their way back into the album process, with the group recently making another visit to the studio.

Jonny Greenwood recently spoke to Dutch music site 3voor12, with Reddit users uncovering the piece. Translated by a user at Radiohead fan site At Ease, the band are seemingly re-working an old but unreleased, track.

"We didn't do anything together for too long, so restarting took a lot of time," he said. "We're working in periods now."

The band are currently tackling 'Lift', a song first performed live in 1996. It's a similar idea to 'Nude' from 2007's 'In Rainbows'- a song which circulated for some time before finding its way onto an album.

Jonny Greenwood said that there's "a very old song" on each Radiohead album. "We never found the right arrangement for ['Nude'], until then. 'Lift' is just like that. When the idea is right, it stays right. It doesn't really matter in which form."
